With our hand-picked collection of vintage furnishings and one-of-a-kind props, we provide our clients with a diverse selection of decorative pieces to transform their wedding, event, film, or photo shoot into a memory that is uniquely theirs and not soon forgotten. From helping you find the perfect décor, to planning and coordinating the smallest details of your event or special day, Commonwealth takes great pleasure in providing our clients with the very best in vintage rental, design, and event services.

Styling Services

Our styling and concept design services further help our clients create the memorable settings that best speak to their aesthetic and maximize their space. After meeting to discuss the style and details of your event or occasion we will provide a quote based on the level of creative direction and installment necessary to make your vision a reality. These services may include the following: coordinating pieces for your event, partnering with our event coordinator or working with your event coordinators & florists to create a cohesive design and ensure an orderly set up, and event day styling to set up and execute design plan. Event Planning & Coordination

A special occasion demands special attention. That’s why Commonwealth also provides our clients with comprehensive event planning and coordination services.

Booking Items

At the time of booking, a down payment totaling 25% of your total rental invoice is used to secure the availability of desired rentals for your specific event date. The total amount of your rentals is due one week before the event.  If, after the event has occurred and these items are returned to Commonwealth damaged, the client will be asked to cover the charges accordingly. Clients may continue to add available items to their booking list after the initial booking with the standard 25% down payment. Their final invoice will be updated accordingly.

Rental Requirements

Our rental minimum for delivery is $800 for locations within Portland and $1,500 for out-of-town events.  Our will-call order minimum is $100.

Delivery

To best serve our clients Commonwealth offers delivery anywhere in Portland, OR and beyond. We offer delivery and pick-up to/from the event site ensuring that pieces arrive on time and in good condition. Our regular business hours for delivery are 9:00AM to 10:00PM, with after hours pick-up available for an additional fee. Charges will vary based on distance traveled and installment options. Inquire within for delivery estimates.

Return Procedures

All dining and serving pieces must be returned clean and repacked in the way they were received. Chalkboards and tabletops should be clean, and linens and blankets should be dry and clear of debris. Heavily soiled items will require an extra cleaning charge. All other accessory items should likewise be returned in the condition in which they were rented.
